DSRA Annual General Meeting -2018 was held on Saturday 31st March 2018 on the lawns of the residence of Mrs. Tahira Athar Nasim, Vice President (F) DSRA. Mr. Sharfuddin Memon, President DSRA chaired the meeting.He highlighted the work done by the DSRA with focus on major issues of water, security, grave yards, traffic and law & order. He briefed about the meetings with Governor of Sindh, Chief Minister of Sindh, Administrator DHA, Station Commander Karachi, CEO CBC, D.I.G Traffic, S.S.P South, MD KW&SB and others. Honorary General Secretary Mr. Mansoor Usmani presented the Annual Report for the preceding year elaborating the progress. Honorary Treasurer Capt. (R) Farooq Dawood Herekar presented the Financial Statement and Audit Report for the Financial Year ending on 31 December 2017 showing a positive balance sheet. AGM approved the 7th Amendment in the DSRA Constitution through which Members Annual Subscription will be Rupees Rs.500 (Five Hundred only) instead of Rs.200 (Two Hundred only). Members highly praised the efforts by and CEC during the last year. Some members also shared their worthy suggestions to improve the functionality of DSRA further ahead. The event was attended by a large number of DSRA Members. The AGM concluded on vote of thanks by the VP (F) Mrs. Tahira Athar Nasim followed by refreshing hi-tea.
